“I have a problem. I’m a naturally outgoing, friendly person, and when I’m around non-Christian, single men, I am relaxed and able to be myself because I know there’s no chance we would ever date or marry. However, when I get around single Christian guys, I clam up because they are somone I could actually date, and I’m suddenly nervous.
“Men are obviously noticing the difference because many non-Christians ask me out. I end up evangelizing them, telling them I can’t date a non-Christian, but inviting them to church with me and they come. Christian guys, though, don’t seem interested in me at all. I know I need to be more myself, but that’s easier said than done. Any help you can offer me?”
